Field trip to kanyakumari

On 26th July 2023 we,second sem BEd students in sabarigiri college scheduled a field trip to kanyakumari. The main objectives of the field grip was to study the importance of field trip as an excellent method and supplement to provide first hand experiences and meaningful teaching and learning outside the school to the community. We started our trip at sharp 5.25am from the college with prayed conducted by Father Abu. We had our breakfast from irani hotel,Neyyattinkara at 7.30am.Then we reached Thirparappu water falls at 9.30 and enjoyed the beauty of nature for some time.Then we reached thakkala Palace at 11.45 and enjoyed the beauty of the palace for some time.Some guides explained us the historical importance of the architectural works.We left the Palace by 1.00pm and started our journey to kanyakumari.We had our lunch at 2.30 from traveling restaurant kanyakumari and went to Vivekananda rock at 3.15 pm.It was a great experience and we take enough pictures from vivekannda rock.We had our tea from triveni restaurant at 5.30 .Then we went to a tourist spot for viewing sunset and shopping.we spent around one hour for shopping.After 7.30 we left kanyakumari.We had our dinner at 10.30pm from irani Hotel and reached college by 1.00am.This study tour was a great experience to us teacher trainees to develop and stimulate interest towards nature and learning through successfull utilisation of community resources correlating the education with outside world.

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK :2 MONDAY TO SATURDAY 25/09/2023 - 30/09/2023.   REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE    On the first day, Monday, six of us teacher training arrived at the school at exactly 9 30 and after that we signed the register and then the second  period I had class 9 A which is my concern class.Today I taught one topic in that period " movements in Respiraton, inspiration and expiration " and then third period I got a substitution class on my concern class 9A also I taught one topic "role of alveoli in the process of Respiraton "After that I didn't get any periods so I did my words and went to serve lunch. There were no afternoon classes as the next day was the school festival. Children were given time to practice the program. We went to coordinate their programs.
