TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK :3

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 2/10/2023 - 6/10/2023.

 

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

The ffirst day, Monday, as it was a public holiday.The school informed that there would be no classes on that day.So we didn't go to school

   On the second day, Tuesday, six of us teacher training reached the school at exactly 9.30 am and signed the register.Today I had the opportunity to take a class in my concern class 9A.Today I taught a topic there "role of respiratory system in the maintenance of homeostasis " The next two periods were free for me and I did my works. Later in the afternoon, we went to serve lunch.The first period in the afternoon was the PT period for the children of 10B so I went to take them to the ground.Then 6th period I got substitution in 6th class where I went and had friendly conversation with kids and gave them activities. After that, I had to go to Substitution in the 5th class and there I interacted with the children and the children sang and danced. Then the seventh graders were caught up in the last period and went to take them to the ground.Then we returned after signing the register at 3:45pm

On third day, Wednesday six of us teacher training reached the school at exactly 9.30 am and signed the register.Today I had the opportunity to take a class in 9C on second period .Today I taught a topic there " role of hemoglobin in the transport of oxygen "Then there was substitution in fourth period 7th class.Later in the afternoon, we went to serve lunch.In the afternoon, all the children went to prepare for participating in the programs that are part of the science fair.We went to observe them.Then we returned after signing the register at 3:45pm

On fourth day, Thursday six of us teacher training reached the school at exactly 9.30 am and signed the register.The first two periods were subsidy in 5th class and then there was substitution in 3rd period on 7th class.Later in the afternoon, we went to serve lunch.5th I had a period on 9c class where one topic was taught "cellular respiration _glycolysis phase, then 6th period I had a class on my concern class 9A where one topic was taught "types of anaerobic respiration "Then we returned after signing the register at 3:45pm

On fifth day, Friday six of us teacher training reached the school at exactly 9.30 am and signed the register.Today the quiz program was conducted continuously for the first four periods.It was a quiz competition conducted as part of the science fair.The quiz competition was conducted separately for upper primary classes and high school classes. During the competition in both classes we stood to value.Later in the afternoon, we went to serve lunch. There were no classes today even after noon as service week was held to mark Gandhi Jayanti. All the children were involved in cleaning their classrooms and school premises. We coordinated it with the kids and helped them.Then we returned after signing the register at 3:45pm

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

In this week the students 9A class were taught using of teaching manual from their fourth chapter from part 1of their biology textbook. The topics are "role of respiratory system in the maintenance of homeostasis " and "types of anaerobic respiration "and the Students of 9 C were taught two topics "role of hemoglobin in the transport of oxygen "and "cellular respiration _glycolysis phase"

The reflective journals were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

     The students of 9A class were given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience. Two teaching manual of 9A class were completed effectively. 5 charts were prepared for 9A class . Students were given followup activities like assignment

REFLECTION ON EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

              On friday a quiz competition was held as a part of science exhibition. Every students participated very well in the competition, winners were also selected. On the same day the afternoon session was utilized for cleaning the school campus and classrooms. It was done as a part of gandhi Jayanthi celebration. Every students actively engaged in cleaning thr school campus.
